The workshop serves as a forum for the discussion of recent advancements in empirical and applied macroeconomic modelling, aiming to connect academic researchers and practitioners. We invite submissions of both applied and theoretical papers addressing time series and broad macroeconomic subjects. Submissions that specifically focus on macroeconomic modelling related to international trade and international finance are especially encouraged. Each day of the conference will feature a keynote speaker addressing the key topic, alongside presentations of contributed papers. Invited discussants will comment on contributed papers. Poster sessions will present early-stage research.
Keynote lectures are given by:
- Gabriel Felbermayr (Austrian Institute of Economic Research, WIFO)
- Jesper Lindé (International Monetary Fund, IMF)
We aim to organize the workshop as in-person event. The workshop fee for participants is EUR 135 EUR (reduced fee for PhD students EUR 100). The fee covers conference materials, coffee breaks, lunch breaks and the conference dinner (Monday). Please note that all participants have to cover their accommodation and travel expenses themselves.
