Jonas Jessen joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in September 2022 and became a Research Associate in April 2023. He also holds a part-time position as a research associate at the IAB. Additionally, he is member of the Berlin School of Economics and a guest researcher at DIW Berlin. He obtained his PhD at the DIW Berlin and Free University Berlin. During his PhD he visited Haas Business School at UC Berkeley for a research stay. His research interests are in labour economics, gender economics and political economy.
