Research Departments
Research at IWH is organised in a matrix. As the primary organisational units, the research departments have been established on a medium to long-term basis. They are responsible for human resources development, infrastructure development and quality management. Currently there are the following four departments:
- Financial Markets
- Laws, Regulations and Factor Markets
- Macroeconomics
- Structural Change and Productivity
The secondary dimension of the matrix consists of research groups which are temporary units working on specific research projects. Each research group is assigned to a topic-oriented research cluster. These clusters do not form their own organisational units.
