Afroza Alam is part of the DPE-Programme since 2020. Her research focuses on innovation and digital economics, applied microeconomics, applied macroeconomics, and labour economics.
Afroza Alam received her bachelor's degree from Asian University for Women in Chittagong, Bangladesh and a master's degree from University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa and Paris University 13 in France. She also spent a semester at the Berlin School of Economics and Law and worked as a research analyst at the World Bank.
