Thomas Steger joined the institute as a Research Professor in March 2012. His research focuses on growth, development and technological change, quantitative macroeconomic modelling, and open economy macroeconomics.
Thomas Steger holds the position of Professor of Macroeconomics at Leipzig University. Prior to that, he was Assistant Professor at ETH Zurich.
